Welcome to our online home. We are small hobby breeders located about 10 miles south of Abilene on Hwy 83 in Tuscola Texas. We have a very cozy 20 acre farm nestled up to the foot of Steamboat Mountain. Green Fields was started by two families, Carrol and Amy Green & James and Peggy Fields. James and Peggy have had Shih Tzus for many years thus leading to Carrol and Amy’s love for the breed.

All of our babies have their dew claws removed and make a trip to the vet for “well baby checks” and have a one year health guarantee against any genetic defects. Our babies are generally ready for their new homes at eight weeks depending on how well they are eating. We never force wean our puppies. Our puppies receive their puppy shots and a round of worming.
All babies are AKC registered with the exception of Lucy’s babies. Lucy was bought as a pet since we were not breeding at the time and papers were not acquired she is however full blooded. This is reflected in the price of her babies.
We require a $100.00 deposit to hold a puppy of your choice. The deposit is non refundable should you change your mind. If there are any health issues with the puppy the deposit will be refunded.
We will be happy to make arrangements to get your puppy to you including shipping. If we drive to deliver your puppy our trip charges are 50-100 miles $50.00, 100-300 miles $100.00. You are more than welcome to come to our home to pick up your baby.

It is our goal to produce healthy, happy, well socialized Shih Tzu puppies that adhere closely to the standards. Our adults range from 7 to 15 pounds. We have every color available including the occasional blue. All of our puppies have sweet loving personalities and are raised in our home along with our children and lots of TLC. Your puppy will come to you pre-spoiled and well on their way to being house broken.
